Now that I'm back into letter writing and beginning mail art, I thought it'd be fun to share it with you. If anyone is interested in a pen pal, please send me an e-mail. You can find it in my profile.

Chinese Happy New Year 2012

Received this gorgeous Chinese New Year 2012 envelope this week from gululu for
Postcrossing's CN-642096 .
I absolutely love the envelope and all the pretty cards that I found inside.
I was so surprised.
"The Forbidden City, Huguang Guild Hall, Baitashan, Geese and the two little small cards".
A big Thank You to gululu!

Mail Art

This envelope was for a mail art swap.
Since I knew, that the recipient likes lighthouses and owls,
I tried to incorporate them.
I'm still very new at this mail art thing.
I'm really just having fun with it!!!

Sweet Tooth Mail Art

Here are two of the envelopes I made for the Sweet Tooth swap I joined a few months ago on Swap-bot.
I really had fun making these and even though I'm not very good at drawing, I gave it another try, lol.
Also, I cut out some sweet goodies from magazines and used a few stickers.

St. Patrick's Day Envelope

This was a swap on swap-bot to decorate an
envelope for St. Patrick's Day.
Here is the one I received from Valerie520.
Isn't it great?

That's the back of the envie and the cute stickers
she enclosed.
Thank you Valerie.
I love it!

Here is the one I made for my partner.
Didn't turn out too well.
I'm just not very good at drawing.
Maybe with lots of practice I'll
get better at it, lol!

Outgoing Mail

Yeah, another attempt at drawing.  It was for a swap, to someone, who loves
Betty Boop.
I really messed up the stars though lol.
The recipient loved it and that was my goal.
I was happy about it!

This one was another swap.  No drawing involved here, lol.
My swap partner loves butterflies, so I made this envelope
and she loved it.
It makes me happy to know, that I was able to make someone smile
with my mail.

First Handmade Postcard

I participated in a swap with Swap-bot to make a handmade postcard.
This is my first try at this.
The theme was the month of January and what it means to you.
Since that is my birthday month I made this card.
It made it alright through the mail
and the recipient liked it.:)

This is the card I received for this swap.
It's made of fabric and sewn all the way around the edges.
It's kind of hard to see, but it also has stars and January
sewn on it.
Pretty neat, huh!

Outgoing Mail Art

I made this envie out of scrapbook paper and then
added some 'Gone with the wind' pictures and
rubber stamps.

Drawing on Envelopes

This is my attempt at drawing on some envelopes.
I'm not much of an artist as you can see, but the receivers seemed to like them
and that's all that matters!
Hopefully I'll get a little better at this in time, lol?

Happy Valentine's Day

Wow, I'm sooo behind with my blogging.  It's been a bit crazy here.  Wanted to show some of the Valentine's card I received these last few days.  They all come from participants from the North American February Round Robin.  A big 'Thank you' goes out to Lori, Cardiffgal and Emotis.  Love the cards!
Happy Valentine's Day to all!  Hope you're having a wonderful day!
